Check out our interview with Grace below:
Who has been the biggest influence on your athletic journey? Why?
My biggest influence has been my mom. She has been with me since day one working on softball and I aspire to be better because of that.
What is your pregame routine?
My pregame routine changes. I always eat something small before the game. I always stretch first, then do my bands and use the same ball to warm up throwing. I always have the same hitting routine as well.
Which of your teammates pushes you to be your best?
I honestly couldn't say that one specific person drives me to be better. The team as a whole pushes one another and I appreciate everyone for doing that.
What's your favorite thing about being on this team so far?
We can all have funny and entertaining moments. We like to joke around alot but we also know when it's time to be serious and when to work hard.
If you weren't playing your current sport, which sport would you try?
Soccer. I like playing it when I was younger and I wish I kept playing it for longer than I did.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
Europe or Hawaii.
What do you hope to do after Pitt?
I am hoping to work in the medical field as a Radiology Technician.
