Patrick Wheeler and Andrew Blake have committed to play at UNC Charlotte and NC State respectively for the 2018-2019 season.

Wheeler (Holly Springs, NC) served as the leadoff hitter during the Bulldogs 2017 campaign. He was an integral part of the offense, hitting .348 with 30 RBI's and 11 stolen bases. Wheeler also was the everyday centerfielder for Pitt and proved to be a major factor on defense. "I am extremely excited to commit to such a great school and program in UNC Charlotte. I'm looking forward to a new season at Pitt to build off of the success of last year and hopefully get back to NJCAA World Series." - Patrick Wheeler

Andrew Blake (Lewisville, NC) was a weekend starter for Pitt during the 2016-2017 season. Blake played a key role on the pitching staff tallying a 7-1 record, recording 67 strikeouts in 14 appearances. "To be able to commit to NC State is humbling and I couldn't be more thankful for the coaches and teammates here at Pitt who have pushed and supported me along the way. I think we can have another season like last year if we continue to work hard and stay focused on our goal of winning a National Championship." - Andrew Blake
